Parents Know Best

    A young cockroach that had strong and powerful wings wanted to test his ability to escape danger. He would always show up in the kitchen of the house where people living in that house were eating, or in the receiving room where people in that house were watching television. When somebody ran after him, he would quickly run and fly away. And he always escaped unscathed. His parents always told him to avoid showing up when the people in the house were still awake or he might get himself killed. But he never listened. He knew he was strong and could fly fast.

     One night, he showed up while the family was eating. On seeing him, the father of the family grabbed a flyswatter and pounced on him. He fell on the floor when one of his wings was hit. He was mercilessly crushed to pieces by the strong foot of the
